About TheGoodPoint.com

Launched in September 2008, The Good Point.com seeks to combine the convenience of the internet with the content and authority of traditional journalistic feature writing. For a better grasp of what TheGP is, consider, first, what it is not. The Good Point.com is not and never will be (any time soon at least) the ultimate online source for up-to-the-minute sports updates or live scoring. Additionally it's not what one would call a blog either, simply because the overworked staff of writers, editors and web programmers see no merit in attempting to compete with the juggernaut websites that already do an excellent job presenting news as it happens.

One of the things this publication does seek to offer, however, is 100% exclusive content dealing with issues that relate to the sports world in an articulate and professional manner. Whether it be amateur hockey or NFL football, The Good Point.com takes pride in its ability to tell the stories that make up the industry over which we obsess.

With a staff consisting of editor-in-chief Austin Kent, assistant editor Chris Pope, a relentless team of web programmers and a growing number of contributing writers and photographers, The Good Point finds itself wedged perfectly between passionate and professional. With that said, TheGP is always looking for valuable additions to the staff and encourage all with a desire to contribute to contact Austin Kent accordingly, either directly at akent@thegoodpoint.com, or through the site's Contact Us page below.
